This is our play on the Japanese Char Siew Roll, braised for long hours in Saito Junmai Sake using a mix of eastern and western herbs and then transferred to a BBQ pit to be smoked and chared. What comes out is an intensely herb-scented and smoke-filled flavorful Char Siew Roll.
